They say ‘THE ONLY THING CONSTANT IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD IS “CHANGE”… Hence, Meet Brothers have numerologically changed their name from MEET BROTHERS’ to MEET BROS. MEET BROS have launched their Recording Studio in October 2005, with Shri. Govindaji do the honor of opening, “Meet Brothers Recording Studio”, which is run by Gautam Chakraborty (Sound Engineer) along with Meet Bros and their team of sound Engineers.
Out of 70 odd movies and Albums and around 10 top movies like RACE, JAB WE MET, METRO, PYAR KE SIDE EFFECTS, DHOL, BHAGAM BHAG, BILLU BARBAR, etc…have been recorded in their Recording Studio. Music Albums of Meet Brothers after 1st – ‘Jogi Singh Barnala Singh’, 2nd – ‘Tanha’ and 3rd – ‘Pyar Humein Kis Modh Pe Le Aya’ (Released by T-Series), the next album “OUT OF CONTROL Punjabis, featured supper hit track ‘AYE BHAI TUNE PAPPI KYUN LI’, which also featured Mika Singh… This song was block buster hit due to the fact that it was based on real life Mika’s kiss episode.
After Pappi, followed “NAKHRA NAKHRA,” a foot tapping Punjabi number, this one was played across all the Clubs and Weddings. Nakhra Video also featured Zabayan Khan (Sister of Mumayat Khan of ‘Seekhle’ fame from “Muna Bhai MBBS”).
After releasing all these Albums, the next leaf in the career of Meet Bros was, launching their own music company and hence they launched MEET BROS MUSIC CO. on 9th of May 2008, with their first Artist Neha Kakkar (of “Indian Idol 2” and “Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar fame”) followed by Arshi, with a super hit track, Dekh Jawani Dekh, composed by Meet Bros . They also released Tishika’s album “The Ocean Of Love”.
The Album was titled “Neha The Rock Star”, with the Video track ‘Tere Baap Ka’… Meet Brothers also sang and featured in the remix of the song ‘Tere Baap Ka’… The latest feather in the cap is, they have formed their own group as Music Directors, branding themselves as ‘MEET BROS ’…
Their first movie as music directors is a comedy called ‘Do Duni Chaar’ with Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh. Keeping up with the pace of music direction, Meet Bros Anjan continue to add their own flavour to this world of music. The next music direction ventures include Deepshikha Nagpals’s “Yeh Dooriyan” and Girish Malik’s “Guns and Heroes”.
Adding yet another jewel to their crown, Meet Bros Anjan have now joined hands with Rajshri Productions in their forthcoming film “ISI LIFE MEIN”. With a total of 7 songs composed by them for this film,
these songs cover all genres according to the various situations and moods depicted in this movie. The Much appreciated Background score for this film is also a creation of the trio. While at the moment, not
much can be revealed about their new projects, what remains assertive, however, is that once again Meet Bros Anjan have raised the bars and given a new definition to “music” bringing forward new sounds and
fresh melodies which further goes on to highlight their work of talent and exciting innovation.
